Oita Airport

Oita Airport (大分空港, Ōita Kūkō) (IATA: OIT, ICAO: RJFO) is an airport in Kunisaki, Ōita, Japan, 16 NM (30 km; 18 mi) northeast of Ōita. The airport is accessible by bus but not by train. Hovercraft service to Oita was available until 2009, it was the last hovercraft service in Japan.

Oita

Ōita (大分市, Ōita-shi) is the capital city of Ōita Prefecture, located on the island of Kyushu, Japan. On January 1, 2005, the town of Notsuharu (from Ōita District) and the town of Saganoseki (from Kitaamabe District) were merged into Ōita.
