Guilin Liangjiang International Airport

Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (IATA: KWL, ICAO: ZGKL) is the airport serving the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is located in Liangjiang, about 28 km (17 mi) southwest of the city center. In 2014, Guilin Liangjiang International Airport was the 33rd busiest airport in China with 5 875 327 people. Around 4 million passengers transit through Liangjiang International annually, traveling to one of the 48 domestic and international destinations served nonstop from Guilin.

Guilin

Guilin (Chinese: 桂林) is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, situated on the west bank of the Li River, and bordering Hunan to the north. Its name means, "Forest of Sweet Osmanthus", owing to the large number of fragrant Sweet Osmanthus trees located in the city. The city has long been renowned for its scenery of karst topography and is one of China's most popular tourist destinations.
